  1. The Giver says forgive me to Joans because he fells like the memory of warfare to quickly. He must of gave warfare to the recever before Joans and that is why it end in carnage he must have feared Joans would end in faler as a result.

After the Giver gave Joans the memory of a birth day party he felt like there was a word for the way the people was feling the Giver called it love. However the socety does not teach love because when Joans asked his father did he love him he said the word was obsolete. Despite that this proves that it is not a utopa because they dont have love.

Grandparents are a new idea for Joans because the society has never had grandparents before. The society lose their history without grandparents yes they do have the house of old however since a family is formed by a mix of two people and two adoted kids you can't say who the grandparents are in the house of old.The society only gains a gap of who they are with out grandparents so the elders gain more control over the people because they don't know who theey are.

Joans stop taking his pills because his mind told him to out of no where as if by magic he just stoped.

  2. The Giver said that because he gave the memory to soon and apparently Jonas wasn't ready for it.

When The Giver gave Jonas the memory of a birthday party he learned of the word love. And that is how people feel for a certain someone.

they need grandparents because they lose all of their ancestors. they will not now who their parents parents are. they dont even know their own mother.

  12. 1.The Giver said "Forgive me" because the giver gived him a memory of warfare that was really painful. The Giver haves faith on Jonas' that he could take that memory, it was a memory that jonas' was not ready for.

2.Jonas' learns about love when the Giver gived him a memory about a special holiday as we know as Christmas but Jonas' does not know that. He felt love because he felt joy and warmth. He finds love here because it was about a family being together and he felt comfort after the memory.

3.Grandparents are a new idea for Joans because the society has never had grandparents before. Jonas' though who are his parents grandparents. Even though a family is formed as a couple and two atopted kids, that has to be a girl and boy. So every child and adult didn't have history because it was just mix of kids giving to couples that are not their parents.

4.Jonas' stops taking the pills because he knew he couldn't go back to the world of no feelings that he had lived in so long in the community.
