Persuasive Writing

Topic: Uniforms
POV (Point of View): For uniforms

Reason 1: Less expensive than regular clothes.
Support 1: You can wear the same thing every week instead of consistently buying new outifits.
Support 2: You can buy clothes in bulk to get a cheaper price. If I save money on clothes then I can spend money on fun things like an I-pod.

Reason 2: Kids will not make fun of you for your clothes because everyone will be the same.
Support 1: Sometimes you cannot afford the expensive brand names that are in style, with uniforms no one will know.
Support 2: Jamie said, "You do not have to worry about being "cool" because everyone will look the same."

Reason 3: Uniforms keep everyone safe.
Support 1: Statistics show that violence is down 70% because students are not wearing gang related colors.
Support 2: Students do not have to worry about getting jumped and someone stealing their nice clothes.
